Kelli is the founder of Focus on Fiction, and the site’s primary editor and interviewer. Besides her work with FoF, Kelli is a closet novelist, senior web designer for PulsePoint Design, world traveler, and general tea fanatic.

When not slaving away over one over-ambitious project or another, Kelli enjoys walks along the ocean, time with prince charming and her ‘almost-human’ cats, and reading great fiction.

Vennessa lives in the picturesque South Island of New Zealand with her husband and three children. When she isn't busy with family, she manages Aotearoa Editorial Services, her own freelance editing company.  She is also actively involved with her church Ladies Group and Bible in Schools.

Vennessa has a deep passion for Christian fiction, and is committed to promoting authors and helping writers achieve their goals. In her spare time, she also pursues her own dreams of becoming a published author of contemporary fiction

Dennis Standish

Dennis serves as editorial advisor, and Focus on Fiction’s review board chair. He is a former fast attack submarine navigator, current manager of most of the housing developments in Washington state (well, almost), and an avid reader. In his spare time, Dennis enjoys mountain biking, hiking, world travel, and tormenting Kelli’s almost human cats.

Melanie Dobson

Melanie is a book publicist and the co-author of Latte for One and Loving It!

Before launching her publicity firm, she was corporate publicity manager at Focus on the Family where she oversaw the publicity of Focus on the Family books. Melanie is now a new fiction author with several books under contract.  Her first novel, tentatively titled Together for Good, will be released by Kregel in 2006. Her second novel, titled Leia’s Game, will be released by River Oak in 2007. When she’s not spending time with her husband, Jon, or chasing their two busy toddlers, Melanie loves writing, hiking, traveling, exploring ghost towns, and reading novels that are both compelling and inspirational.  She and her family currently live in Berlin.
